THE RECORD SHOP
The Record Shop. I took this photograph in 2017, one of the last times this location was wrapped with the words Tower Records. The other side of the building had a big “Space Available” sign bolted to it. This Sunset Strip location closed in 2006, well before I started the Los Angeles series, but in its prime, Tower Records in Hollywood was THE place for discovering new music, and you might even find yourself walking the same aisle as your favorite musician. If you're a true music fan, I highly recommend watching All Things Must Pass. In 2023, the space was remodeled into a skate shop.
