IMAGINE IT ALL

Imagine It All. In 2018, I included this location in the Los Angeles series. It took me several tries to capture this place because cars were always parked right out front. I was only able to take this photograph because the road was being worked on.  That was lucky for me, but what was not lucky... it was now a single-traffic lane. And that meant I had to stand on an active street in Los Angeles - and that is no joke. Adding to the tension, I  work with a view camera and it takes time to get things level and in focus. I know a few drivers were super confused as they flew up the street to find me standing there. But it all worked out and I finally took the photograph I had always wanted to take. Only a few months later, this location was closed forever.
